Manitou Art Center

The Manitou Springs Manitou Art Center (MAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting excellence, innovation and creativity by Colorado Artists. The MAC is a gathering place for community, cultural & arts organizations, and artists.  http://www.manitouartcenter.org

STUDIO ARTIST PROGRAM awards studio artists affordable professional working space within a vibrant artist community. Studio disciplines include: glass arts, printmaking, painting, mixed media, digital photography, dark room photography, photography shooting studio, wood works, metal works & ceramic arts

VENUE 515 events facilties - where lectures, film screening, community meetings, arts events & private parties are held

GATHERING PLACES gift shop, offices, conference room,  lounge, wine bar, bakery

ART BOOK PUBLISHING PROJECT Was among the special vision of the BAC. An independent publishing project aimed at producing high quality art books featuring world class artist and art emerging from the Front Range Region of Colorado. Publishing projects are limited and are now focused on the first book (i.e. Battle Portraits) distribution and related events. This program is not active in the MAC
